Two books this week:
Maria Snyder - Poison Study
This was recommended to me by Ricki Jill Treleaven. (See, I do take recommendations seriously!) My library had a copy, so I grabbed it - we'll see how it is! Yelena exchanges a death sentence for service as a food taster. To ensure her loyalty, she is poisoned, and has to receive antidotes regularly. This promises to be a political book with lots of double crosses and subterfuge, all things I like.
Dorothy Sayers - Whose Body?
mmy seems to re-reading Sayers' works, it seems to me that I liked Lord Peter Wimsey when I read some of Sayers' work. A nice change of pace.
