Back to the library today to pick up a book I had ordered - The Magicians Guild, by Trudi Canavan. John Scalzi noted that he had just received the first of Canavan's new trilogy. That looked neat, but it's set in the world of the first trilogy, so I have decided to read the first trilogy first. Which always seems like a wise move.
